Delores Sigourney Obituary
Delores Marie Sigourney, 97, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, returned home to the Kingdom of God on April 21, 2025. Born in Superior, Wisconsin, on April 17, 1928, Delores lived a life full of love, faith, and dedication to her family and the Lord.
For over 50 years, Delores was a devoted member of the Assembly, where she lived out her faith with an unwavering commitment. Her deep love for God and her family was evident in everything she did, and she dedicated her life to serving others, always prioritizing the Word of the Lord. Known for her strong faith, Delores had a spirit that could not be shaken, and she was a source of inspiration to all who knew her.
Delores was also known as “Granny,” a title she wore with pride. She was an avid storyteller, sharing tales of her travels, adventures, and the lessons she learned along the way. Her home was a welcoming place for all, always open to those in need of love, support, or guidance. Delores was the glue that held her family together, a loving matriarch whose presence will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Sigourney, Jeff Sigourney, Jay Sigourney, and her daughter, Judy Driskel. Delores is also survived by her grandchildren, Levi, Stacy, Landon, Andy, Misty, Chris, Timmy, DJ, Darren, and Cami, along with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the legacy of love and faith she instilled in them.
Delores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn Sigourney; her son, Gary Sigourney; and her grandson, Nicholas Sigourney.
A memorial service to honor Delores’ life and faith will be held at the Assembly in Siloam Springs at 10:00 AM on April 24, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Delores by sharing a kind word or lending a hand to those in need, just as she did throughout her life.
The arrangements were entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
