Richard Martin Bithell, 66, of Siloam Springs, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Mercy Hospital in Rogers.
Richard was born on April 13, 1959, in Meriden, Connecticut. He was the son of Vernon A. Bithell and Madeline Junco Bithell. He married Natasha Williamson on March 18, 2006, in Newnan, Georgia. Richard was an Avionics Mechanic for Delta Airlines before his retirement, working out of the Atlanta terminal. He was a great cook and had gone back to college and earned his Associate Degree in Culinary Science. He was a member of the NWA Mud Hogs and enjoyed going rock crawling in his jeep. He loved children, was an amazing husband and father, and a very kind person. Richard served with honor in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Natasha Bithell of the home; four daughters, Addison Bithell of Siloam Springs, Brittany Smith of Carrollton, Georgia, Bevin Hummel and husband Justin, and Becca Anthony and husband Lee; three sisters, Wendy Ferrell, Peggy McCarragher and Carol Cook; grandchildren, Logan Chaffin, Landon Chaffin, Presley Smith, Harper Hummel, MacKenzie Lee, Jackson Lee, Maddox Lee, and Abigale Lee; along with many other family members and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Danny Bithell and Vernie Bithell Jr.
Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm
Graveside services will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 10:00am.
