Maria Karagianis Obituary

Of Winthrop, Nov. 23. Beloved wife of John D. Karagianis. Devoted mother of Gail Karagianis Simon & her husband Andrew. Cherished grandmother of Andreas Simon. Loving sister of Matina & Stratos Koutsouti, Eleni Goulielmos & Kostia Mellingari. Sister-in-law of Pandelis & Panayioti Karagianis, Koula Karalekas, Dena Dedopoulos & Athanasia Demos. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Visiting hours at the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., WINTHROP, Mon. 5-9 p.m. Relatives & friends are kindly invited. A Funeral Service will be held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 11 Church St., Lynn, Tues. at 10 a.m. Those attending the Funeral are asked to go directly to church. Interment Winthrop Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Fl., Brookline MA 02445, in her memory.

As we sat around the table at Betty and Steve's this Thursday we thought of the many happy Thanksgivings we spent with John and Maria. We will both miss her.
