Uncle Bob had a smile for everyone! I will always remember his jovial laugh and even hear it sometimes when my Dad laughs really hard. He had a way of remembering everything about you and always had a toy or some little treasure to make you feel special. You are missed Uncle Bob but your memory and laugh will live forever.

Even though he wasn't my uncle, well, I called him "Uncle Bob". I got to know Bob a little more than some of the other uncles because of the Chatham house and Bob's generosity in sharing his home with us when Julia and Matt were little. He worked very hard, but he found some time to relax a little with us-some dinners out, excursions on the boat. He used to amaze me with his knowledge about everything...he could talk about anything too. We will all continue to share his memory with stories and photos. There are so many fond memories, luckily, to share.

I will always have fond memories of Uncle Bob, especially from visiting him on the Cape when I was little. He was such a fun uncle to have around... I remember how he used to pick Matt and me up and fly us in circles over his head. Going out on his boat was always a treat too. I was very sorry that I couldn't be there for the funeral, but I was there in spirit. I am uploading some photos. I hope to see you all soon.

Bibe, we cannot believe it and we are so happy we got to see him at our brothers wake on April 14th. All the wonderful memories would fill a book. He walked with us, talked with us, laughed with us, played with us and will always be remembered by us and our family. We feel your loss and we are sorry.

Uncle Bob will always hold a special place in my heart. Love, Anne

When Jessy and Alex were little we stayed with Bob in the Watertown house. Jessy must have been 3 or 4 and she fell in love with a Dixie Cup dispenser (something that she had never seen) that Bob had in the bathroom. It dispensed small cups decorated with yellow flowers. When we left Bob gave her a present of several unopened refill packs of the little cups. Jessy showed them so proudly to her father and cherised them for many years. A memory she will never forget and another gesture of Bob´s big caring heart.

Uncle Bob has a special place in my heart. I remember him coming home from the army on Mansfield Street greeted by his mom and many brothers and sisters. Also remember tasting "rations". As a young couple I have fond memories of Uncle Bob visiting us in our first apartment at Caminito Gabaldon-showing him the sites of San Diego. We visited Uncle Bob in Chatham when we had our son Andrew-and going to his favorite breakfast spot. Andrew needed a nap and gave his dad a right hook across the face. From then on Uncle Bob referred to Andrew as "The Boxer" and laughed and laughed. We will miss you Uncle Bob,
Fondly,

I wish I heard the conversation... :)

I have many fond memories of my visits to Chatham. Uncle Bob took me on my first fishing trip where I nearly flipped the boat due to my excitement of hooking a fish. Uncle Bob spent the weekend laughing at my expense!

Dear Bob, I will always remember the joy you brought to our children with your great sense of humor. I'm sure they will always remember the fun times with you on the camping trip to N.H. and our visit with Mark to your home in Chatham. Love always & God Bless Evelyn

Uncle Bob was the funniest for sure, he always had great stories to share. He is my godfather and always made sure I knew that he was there to protect me and love me. I will miss him.

My dearest Bob,
You were and will always be very dear to me. You were the most unselfish person I have ever known and have been privileged to know and love. If there is a heaven, you most undoubtedly are having a Dunkin Donuts coffee with God and your mom and dad. I will miss you, but you have given me a legacy of wonderful memories that will never go away....I love and loved you...your sister in law....Peg
