To Mary Ann and Joe,

I am so grateful to have known your mother. While working at the Oyster House for many years, I had many small conversations with her. She was so nice and easy to talk to and she would remind me so much of my own grandmother. She was always so thoughtful and sincere when she spoke to you and her smile would make you smile too. When I told her I was leaving to become a teacher, she told me that there was no more important work than teaching children. I'll never forget Mrs.Milano and am more saddened to have just heard the news days ago. My sympathies to both of you and your family.
