GORDON KIERSTEAD Obituary
Kierstead and Edwin Roy Kierstead. US Army vet from 1967-1973. Served in Vietnam until 1969. His favorite hobby was motorcycling with his friends. Predeceased by his sister, Leona Colleran. Survived by his wife, Maureen (Hondros) Kierstead, daughter, Camille Kierstead, step-son, Charles James Strock, mother, Pauline Kierstead, 2 grandchildren, Kayjana and Milo. No calling hours. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Stratham Hill Park, 270 Portsmouth Ave., Stratham, NH. A celebration of his life will follow.

So sad to know that Gordy is gone. I saw his mother's obituary today only to read that he had predeceased her. When I was a teenager and he was too(many, many years ago)I thought he was an older brother. He spent so much time at our house - he was a very good friend of my real older brother, Jimmy Murphy. You couldn't help but smile when you would look out my mother's window and see Jimmy, Gordy, and Chuck walking their motorcycles down my mother's street so as not to disturb her neighbors. So many good memories from those days. My condolences to his family.
