I'm so sorry to learn of Beth's passing. I will always remember her fondly. She was a great friend to me in Durham (at Duke) and in Cleveland. I'm sorry we lost touch with each other over the years, but she's been in my thoughts many times. A great loss to all who knew her. My deepest sympathies to Steve and all of Beth's friends and family.
With much love, Terry

Dear Steve, Lydia, Eleanor and Alice, by deepest sympathy. When I lost my daughter to breast cancer, Corie made us promise to "Trust an unknown future to an all knowing God." My prayers are with you, Julie Stone

My heartfelt sympathies go out to family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

Beth was a wonderful person!! I had the honor to know her for a number of years!! She was the sort of person who is rare in politics these days: She had firm opinions based on deep moral convictions, but she could always see other people's point of view. Her courageous fight against her cancer is an inspiration to all those battling disease. Sincerely, Respectfully and in Christ, Ernest Evans
