William A Fitzgerald

William A. Fitzgerald, age 91, of Bay Village, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026. Born on November 4, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio, Bill was a devoted family man, a successful entrepreneur, and a talented artist whose creative spirit touched the lives of many.

Bill was predeceased by his wife, Cathleen "Kit-c" (nee Clyne), and is survived by his daughter, Katie Corrigan, her husband Bryan, his daughter, Colleen Visconti, her husband Jim, and his son Kevin Fitzgerald and his wife Chrissy. He was a proud grandfather of seven: Calvin Corrigan; Shannon (Zach Seither), Bridget, Claire, and James Visconti; Daniel and Finn Fitzgerald; and cherished the joy of being a great-grandfather to Mackenzie Seither. Bill also leaves behind his sister, Diane Kramer, and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was a dear brother-in-law to Patrick Clyne, Kay-c Lavelle, and Bonnie Fitzgerald. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Catherine Fitzgerald, and his brother Tom Fitzgerald.

A graduate of Gilmore Academy, Bill earned degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Case Western Reserve University, culminating in a successful career as the co-owner of Holsman Corporation. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he enjoyed sailing on the waters of Lake Erie during his younger years and spending his summers and fall in the mountains of Vermont. Bill was known for his passion for golf, gardening and his artistic talents, particularly in Zentangle and needlepoint, which allowed him to express his creativity and share beauty with those around him.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Bill's life. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 525 Dover Center Rd. Bay Village, OH 44140. Followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Lakewood Park Cemetery.
