My sympathies to Abe's family. I knew him as a child. He taught painting and I often posed for his portrait classes, as a model. My mom was a student of his. He was a kind and modest man.

Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
