Susan Burns Obituary
She was born March 7, 1940, daughter of L.L. "Breanie" and Rose Berrean.
Susan graduated from St. Bernard High School in 1958 and attended Penn Hall College in Chambersburg, Pa. She worked at Corning Glass Works in Bradford, then served as secretary at St. Therese Church at Wrightsville Beach for a number of years.
She married Ellis Burns on Feb. 24, 1962.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Denise (Brian) Frontino of Cyclone, Pa., Mark Burns of Huntersville and Kevin Burns of Wilmington; six grandchildren, Megan, Lucas and Zachary Frontino, Hunter and Jenna Burns, and Hudson Burns; sister, Patsy (Mickey) Woodcock; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial funeral mass will be held at noon Sept. 14 at St. Therese Catholic Church.

I just spoke with Susan at Monsignor Josef's farewell party at St. Therese this summer. Susan appeared to be as vibrant as ever. She was a great asset and mainstay at St. Therese. Susan Burns will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers will be with her husband and family at this difficult time.
