STEVEN DODD 4/10/1966 - 9/19/2025 A Memorial service for Steven Dwayne Dodd, age 59, of Leesburg, will be held at 2:00PM on, October 17, 2025, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early with Pastor Jason Peck officiating. Mr. Dodd passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Dodd was born April 10, 1966, in Brownwood, Texas, to Bobby and Elsie Pierce Dodd. His family moved to Odessa, TX where he became a truck driver moving mobile homes and later on him and his wife moved to Junction, TX where he drove a concrete truck. He enjoyed hunting for deer, hogs, and coyotes. He also worked on his property, and he loved the country style living when he moved to Leesburg. He is survived by his wife, Gaye Ann Dodd of Leesburg; son, Ryan Dodd and wife, Bryn of Odessa; stepson, Eric Carroll of California; stepdaughters, Emily Atchison and husband, Jason of Ellisville, Peggy Stanley and husband, David of Abilene, and Christie Davis of New Mexico; grandchildren, Madi, Kay Kay, JayRoss, JayLyn, Kari, Michael, Xander, Eowyn, and Bryson; great-grandchildren, Hudson Creed; brothers, Johnny Dodd of Bangs, TX and Allen Dodd and Tracey of Gatesville; step-brother, Jason Peck and wife, Jennifer of New Mexico, step-sisters, Tammy Runge and husband, Brent of Arizonia and Raven Tigner of Gilmer; mother, Elsie and step-dad, James Peck of May, TX; dad, Bobby and step-mother, Rhonda of Leesburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa and Nanny Pierce, Grandpa and Grandma Dodd; and Grandson, Evan Hill. Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
