RICE-JONES _ Ethel (Kay) 1926 - 2004 On Tuesday, February 3, 2004, Kay peacefully passed away at the Chinook Intercare Center just one day shy of her 78th birthday. She is survived by her loving family, son Dave (Robin) Howse; daughter Debi Pluto; grandchildren, Christopher, Katie, Michael, Serena and Shayne. Kay also leaves her brother Gordon Perry and sisters, Muriel (Herb) Evoy and Edith Angeloni. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Howse and sister Audrey. Mom was an extremely hard worker all her life. She worked for many places before retiring from Cascade Group in 1985. She enjoyed travelling with Art prior to his death in 1989 and then with her friend Dorothy. Kay will be remembered for her style and elegance and was always a lady. Her faith and love of family have always been important to her. Kay's family wishes to thank the nursing staff and caregivers for their kindness, patience, understanding and for making her comfortable and loving her. It will not be forgotten. It was Kay's wish that no formal Services be held. Messages of condolence may be made by e-mail at [email protected]. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations in Kay's name may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 1825 Park Road S.E., Calgary, AB T2G 3Y6.
