MICHOR, Maria ""Mara"" (nee Vaupotitsch)August 25, 1933 - October 13, 2010It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Following a brief illness, Mara died peacefully on October 13, 2010, at the age of 77. Mourning her loss are Paul, her loving husband of fifty eight years; her daughters Ruth (Larry) Birchall of Cochrane, Sylvia (Ron) Hillman and Angela (Ed) Look, all of Didsbury, and Theresa (Kelly) Jordan of Blind Bay, B.C. Grandma Marie's thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren will also miss her greatly. Mara is also survived by her sisters, Tony of Calgary and Erika (Paul) of Long Sault, Ontario and sisters-in-law Fini and Stephie in Austria as well as many nieces and nephews in Calgary and Austria. Mara was predeceased by her parents, Josef and Maria Vaupotitsch and her sister, Sylvia. A Celebration of Maria's life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com .
