Died Canberra ACT Australia 4 March 2015.
Resident of Canberra since 1959.
Son of Stephen & Sarah, brother of Stephen, Joan, Terence (all dec) and Maureen (UK).
Beloved husband of Maureen (dec).
Cherished father and father-in-law of Kathleen & David Lazzari, Bernard & Michelle, Peter & Chaoqi, Stephen, and David & Marcelle. Devoted Opa of Christopher, Danielle, Holly, Nicola, Brendan, Rachel, Steven, Zihao, Daniel, Hayley, Hannah and Emma.
Much loved, sadly missed.
Requiem Mass to celebrate Bernie's life will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Cnr Phillip and Antill Ave, Watson on THURSDAY 12 March 2015 at 12 noon.
Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Clare Holland House would be appreciated.

Fantastic father-in-law.
There when we needed him but also wise enough to give us the room to do it ourselves.
I'll be forever grateful for that room and his more than generous help however that help was delivered.
10 Pom and proud of it.
Bloody top Aussie.
I'll miss him, probably more than I currently realise.
I'll celebrate what you did and say goodbye with a beer and something with chilli
