I remember your mother fondly, especially for taking care of my sister and me when our parents were out of town in the 1960's. As I have grown older, I understand even more what a responsibility that was, and I will always be grateful. My parents and your parents were neighbors and friends in the old-fashioned way, and that makes me happy. I know you will miss your parents oh-so-much, as I do mine, and my heart goes out to you.

Sincerely,

terri

Dear Collingwood Family,
what a beautiful video tribute for a beautiful lady. I worked with Betty at General Tire. I was fresh out of high school and scared beyond belief. Betty took me under her wing as only she could and put my fears to rest.

I can still see her smile and hear her laugh. She always talked about Benny and her kids which her desk was full of pictures.

How blessed you have been to have her as your mom and grandma. She was a fantastic lady!

God comfort you in the days ahead.
