Dear Bob,
I can still hear you laughing! Thank you for everything! How grateful I am that our lives collided the way they did. I especially appreciated your passionate love for your family and all the people you championed to be the best humans they could possibly be!
Dear Family ( natural, extended and work family),
Our hearts are broken at losing him. I know mine is. Let us all continue to share the words he spoke to us and continue to quote to one another always. The Bobisms, that will come to us right when we need them. It's not who's right, it's what's right! The honest coaching and the confidence to be the best version of ourselves. The godly character and integrity he modeled. His diplomacy and caring communication skills. His crazy sense of humor that just cracked us up. His extensive portfolio of hobbies and interests. I for one am going to learn skeet shooting in his honor, I swear! He will forever be alive through us and the generations after us as we pass along those tidbits of wisdom, joy, laughter, and love. Won't he?
All my Love to you at this difficult time,
Gail Crites

Bob Thorn acted as a unique guide for young boys
when they began their wrestling life. He provided lessons in honor, good-sportsmanship, athleticism, and how to learn to make good decisions. He was as good as you can get for a wrestling coach. My sincere prayers are with his family, especially his children.
