I am sorry for your loss. Although I have not seen my old (neighbor, Farnsworth, and Lane Technical school buddy), for 50 years, we did hook up briefly on Facebook. God Bless.

To the Schweda Family,

We’re sorry for your loss of your remarkable patriarch; it is our loss that we did not have the opportunity to know him.

We’ve been online friends with his daughter, Roberta, for over a decade, over which time we have heard stories and adoration aplenty. This, combined with knowing the singular goodness that is his eldest, tells us that Robert must have been a truly amazing man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Robert and all who loved him.

My heart is so heavy and sad for all the Schweda family. My grandson's Gabe and Noah so loved their Granpa Bob. They spoke of him often when I came to visit them. They will dearly miss him. Pete spoke proudly of his Dad, not just for his accomlishments but for the loving, caring and remarkable man that his was. Heaven is a brighter place with Bob being there. You are all in my prayers.
