To Eleanore's Children,
When I didn't receive a Christmas card from Eleanore this year, I was fearful of bad news. I found her obituary online to my sadness.
I am a first cousin of Eleanore's husband, Alfred. Alfred's father, Leo Leisz, and my mother, Anna Marie Leisz Meyer, were brother and sister.
I have a hand-written letter Alfred wrote to Millie O'Malley, another cousin on May 30, 1998. If Eleanore's family would like a copy, please e-mail me at [email protected].
I am enrolling Eleanore as a Friend of the Maryknoll Sisters. She will benefit from the prayers and good works of these holy women.
I ask our dear Lord to grant Eleanore an eternity of peace and happiness and may He grant all members of Eleanore's family His comfort and consolation in their very personal loss.
