NORMA MARIE KARASEK, nee Steben, age 92, of Villa Park, died Sunday, August 30 at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Richard Karasek. Loving mother of Keith (Daphne), Linda (Gary) Mader, Nancy (Michael) Gorski, Susan (Roger) Wahl, Joyce Aschermann, and Mark (Ruth). Dearest grandmother of Eric (Bailey), Brett, Krista, Wendy, Rachel and Heidi Mader; Matthew and Bethany Wahl; Cole and Drew Aschermann, and Arthur, Arbie, Gideon, and Estefani Karasek. Fond sister of Mildred (Walter) Knosher, Lorraine (George) Johnson, Elroy (Betty) Steben, Arnold (Marilyn) Steben, and Harold (Jean) Steben. Dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Karasek was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church of York Center Lombard. She lived her entire life in the Lombard and Villa Park area, attending Trinity Lutheran School and York High School. Mrs. Karasek worked ten years in the Merchandise Mart for Johns Manville before marrying and raising her family. Visitation will be held Friday, September 4 from 2 to 8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 5 with Mrs. Karasek Lying-In-State from 9:30 AM until time of Service at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, York Center, Roosevelt and Meyers Roads, Lombard. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church or Trinity Lutheran School, Roosevelt and Meyers Roads, Lombard, Illinois 60148 would be appreciated.
