David Zaval Obituary

Dave was born June 23, 1928 in Chicago, IL, to Mary and James Zavadlov. He moved, in 1958, to the NW suburbs and has been a resident of Arlington Hts. since 1983. He worked as a sales/purchasing specialist in fasteners and served as a Sergeant in the National Guard. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially time with family, photography and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carol, his children, David (Marianne) Zaval, Jr., Diane Laspisa, Nancy ( Paul) Reynolds, step grandchildren, Cheryl (Michael) Jones, (Bridjet) Fogarty, eight grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, brother Ed (Barb) Zavadlov. He is preceded in death by his sister, lorrie (Dick) Meiser, granddaughter, Cathryn Laspisa and stepdaughter, Cathy Aniolowski. Memorial service will be Jan. 31, 2015 at 12:00 pm at St. James Parish in Arlington Hts., IL.
