John was so welcoming. You always felt that he was glad to see you. He passed on his love of Irish ceili & set dancing to many of us. Thanks John. We'll keep a ninth spot open for you in the set.

It is with a broken heart that I write this, my Dad, John or Jack to many, was a wonderful person. We could not have asked for a better father, he loved us all so much and we loved him. He taught us to work hard, care for others and to put our families first. He adored all of his grandchildren and loved them so much and they were with him through everything. It is a tribute to the person he was to have had so many friends who cared for him and wanted to help. We thank all of them. The world has lost a wonderful person but he is so happy to be back with our Mom. We know they are enjoying each other again and that they will be watching over our family. We now have a pair of angels watching over us.
Thank you again for being such a special person. Love ya and miss ya Dad. Peggy

A dear friend and teacher who gave so much to so many people. I will forever remember your kind smile. Many years ago, I showed up at Gaelic Park with my cousin Keith O'Neill looking to dance the Sets - it was John and Nancy Carmody who took us aside and so patiently taught us. John always made us feel a part of the Ceili and Set Dancing family at Gaelic Park. What a positive impact you have had on so many people! You will be very missed.

Dad, thank you so much for being such a wonderful father and friend. You were always there for us. We are all heartbroken that you are not by our side anymore but we are so glad you are out of pain. You will always be an inspiration to us. We are glad the pain is gone and you are back with Mom, I am sure that first dance in Heaven was wonderful, I know you couldn't wait to be back on the dance floor to dance the night away. You will always be in our hearts. Rest in Peace Dad, Love Always, Patrick
