Michael Timothy Harrington

1964 - 2018

Died on 19 Sep 2018 in Evanston. Michael was born on 4 Mar 1964 the 3rd of 5 children of Dr. John and Bernice (Hunt) Harrington. Mike grew up in Oak Park, IL where he was very active in many sports including softball, hockey and his first love football. Mike went on to earn a commercial pilot's license and his love of flying continued until his death. Mike was also an entrepreneur starting two successful businesses, but his passion was the creations he made with wood and later paint. Mike had a larger than life personality, the loss of which is felt keenly by his immediate family, Julia Walch, Barbara LaForge and Mei-Lin Sicinski. He is survived by his son Jacob, brother Matthew Harrington, Rita Moy and 2 sisters Carrie and Elizabeth. A memorial mass will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Skokie on 29 Sep 2018 at 10A. Both parents and a brother precede him in death.
