I'm so sorry to hear of your loved and deepest condolences are extended to you. Something that's helped me through the death of loved ones is to reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:26.

Thinking of you with deep sorrow and sympathy, Howard, Pat, and family.
We were not fortunate to have met Bess but reading about her and hearing about her from the rest of you sheds light on her exceptional character and how she impacted others during her all too brief life.
I wish we had known your extraordinary Bess.

I am very sorry for your loss. I felt fortunate to get to spend some time with Bess when she was living in Baltimore. Her accomplishments in her short life were amazing, and it is sad her family, friends and the world did not get to see her live out a full life and watch what she would have accomplished.

In her interview for the nurse manager position at Mount Sinai, Rebecca told me that she she did not see herself in an office making policy. She wanted to be on the frontlines of healthcare making a positive difference for patients. Of course, I hired her on the spot. Rebecca she did what she said and more every single day. She quickly became a dear friend and trusted colleague to me and many others. She always had the right words for any situation. Just before social distancing became wide spread, I had a chance meeting with Rebecca on the subway. I had just finished a particularly tough day and was on the way home. Rebecca gave me a big hug, showed me updated pictures of Caroline and the boys and we quickly got caught up. After she stepped off the subway, I remember feeling so much better. In fact anytime I spent with Rebecca I felt better. She just has that effect on people. I believe once the grief starts to pass, the memories of her will have the same effect. I will miss her very much. I wish we had more time to spend with her and I will forever cherish the time working with her those 10 minutes on the B train.
My deepest sympathies to you.

Bess was a wonderful person throughout her life, both as a little kid growing up and as an adult. She cared about people and always had a smile. She made you feel special when you'd see her. She was truly lovely and accomplished, and a daughter, sister, wife, mom and friend to be exceedingly proud of. Bess, you will be missed. Chad, Lora, Marisa, Matt and Meredith.

Rebecca and her family were friends of my daughter Victoria and her family in Brooklyn, having children of the same age and living in the same building. I met Rebecca and her family at my grandson's first birthday party last year. Rory and Finn, my grandson's playmates, are so adorable and Caroline and Rebecca so kind and such loving parents. On subsequent visits to Brooklyn I'd see Rory and Finn who played on the 18th floor with my grandson, and I was always asking my daughter about those two whenever we spoke on the phone. All condolences to Caroline and Rebecca's family.

My beautiful friend, I miss you so much already my heart is broken into a million pieces. Your joy for everyone and everything, your love and affection towards all who crossed your path will always be an inspiration. Every person who had the joy of meeting you is a better person as a result. The light in this world has dimmed for now but will be restored through your beautiful boys Rory and Finn.
