Christopher Reynoso Obituary
Christopher John Amado Reynoso, 19 years old, of Santa Rosa, CA, died in an ATV accident on his vineyard outside Cloverdale, CA in the early morning hours of May 23. Two of his closest friends were with him and performed CPR, to no avail. Emergency services arrived quickly and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Christopher had just returned from his freshman year at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. He was a member of the class of 2007 at Sonoma Academy High School in Santa Rosa where he played basketball for 4 years and was co-captain in his senior year. Christopher was cherished by his family, friends and classmates. He was wise beyond his years, compassionate and fun-loving. He had the rare ability to make others feel confident and accepted. His abundance of friends is testament to his charisma and good nature. He will be missed by everyone he touched. Christopher is survived by his mother, Jennifer; his father, Joe; his brothers, JW and
Matthew; his stepmother, Elena; his grandparents, Bill and Mary Lou Hill of Orland Park, IL; grandmother, Diane O'Keefe of Chicago, IL and grandfather, Amado
Reynoso of Cloverdale, CA; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John O'Keefe and his uncle, Jim Hill. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 7 at 9:30 a.m. at St Josaphat Church, 2311 North Southport Avenue, Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that any donations be directed to the Chris Reynoso Scholarship Fund at Sonoma Academy, 50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa
Rosa, CA 95403.

I know that Kacey would have loved to have met Christopher. He sounds like so much fun. Perhaps they have met already. Please know that I am praying for you and also hurting with you. Losing a child - no matter what age is the worst nightmare any parent can experience. It just seems so unfair. A part of the heart is gone when a child is lost. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and condolences. Whilst any words at this time can not soften such a mortifying loss, I am sure that your friends and family will provide an enduring legacy for Christopher. The memorial service was beautiful. It was evident by the attendance that you were loved by many in your short time here.

Dear Jen and family,
All of the nurses in Palliative Care have had you in their thoughts and prayers with much sadness and grief since learning of Chris's death. My brother was also killed in an accident at the age of 19, and this so brings back the shock and horror I felt when getting that phone call 25 years ago. My heart goes out to you and your boys. Jen, I know how much you love your sons, I am so sorry this has happened. You are such a great person, a loving mom, and a wonderful nurse, it hurts to know you are in pain. You are loved. Christopher, I only knew you briefly, but my daughters knew you when you were all kids, playing on the go carts out at the Ranch in Cloverdale. I have often heard them speak of the fun they had and the great memories of those times... They called you boys the "Reynoso Boys" and you guys called them those "Cheli Girls" We are all so very sorry that your light has left, but know that it will continue to shine in those who remember you as a very special person, lingering on in those you have left behind, until we all meet again.
