Sergio Monfeli, age 83, of Roselle, IL and San Diego, CA; Veteran US Navy; beloved husband of Josephine, nee Ragona; loving father of Sharon (Michael) Monfeli Cloud, Patricia (John) Monfeli Flavin and Larry (Shari) Monfeli; proud grandfather of Sarah Rose, Vincent and Matthew Flavin and Nicholas, Daniel, Joseph and Hailee Monfeli; dear brother of Roger (the late Frances) Monfeli, Remo (Shirley) Monfeli and the late Eva (the late Matthew) Kura. Sergio will be missed greatly. He had a positive spirit and I always felt like he had our backs as we had his. It was an honor to have known him, and I appreciated what a good father he was. I also loved his passion for travel and for his road trips back and forth to San Diego. I hope to do something similar some day myself.
