Peter Nothof Obituary

Peter Charles Nothof, Jr., 74, of Horseshoe Bend, AR, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2014 surrounded by loved ones at Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, TX. Born in Chicago, IL on April 29, 1939 to the late Peter and late Marie Nothof. He resided in Worth, IL before retiring to Arkansas in 2000. Peter was a loving husband and father, member of the Pipe fitters Union Local 597 for 50 years, active for 41. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and traveling with his wife during retirement. Peter married Judith Ann (nee Hoff) on March 8, 1979 and together they raised their children, Chiara C. Rosillo, Tiara T. Muhr of Milwaukee, WI, Victoria L. (Mark) Mikoff of Loda, IL, Peter C. Nothof, III, and James E. (Nancy) Scaturro of Monee, IL. He is survived by his wife and children and by his brother William Nothof and his wife Bea as well as 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Marie Millner. The family will receive friends from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Horsehoe Bend Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 26th.
