Dear Lorraine, Karen, and Jim,
How blessed we have been to have Bob and Lorraine next door at the Mirage -- warm, delightful, interesting, and wonderful neighbors. Watching Bob amuse restaurant servers from Marco Island to the Everglades has been great fun through these eleven years. "We pinch ourselves," was our joint comment about the beauty of the island and of the Mirage, and our sense of great good fortune for being part of it all. Karen and Jim, we have known through all the years how attentive and faithful and loving you have been to your parents. (We understand Bob's sentiment -- if he had known you two would come out so well they'd have had four -- that's our Bob!)
Our hearts, love, and prayers are with you and the grandchildrend and great-grands -- the whole family.
We hold tight all the joyful memories, still here to bless today and the future. Lorraine, all that goodness will be with us -- and all your friends and neighbors -- as we carry our friendships forward together. We hold you very dear and look forward to our next tea time. Much love, Wayne and Deborah

I can only think happy memories when I think about Bob and his wonderful way. He was always good for a chuckle with his dry humor. He will be sorely missed here at the Mirage and by everyone who knew him.

Dear Lorraine,
Betty and I were so saddened to see today's notice of Bob's death. We have been friends for over 50 years and have so many common experiences and memories not the least of which was working together to get the Crystal Tree Golf Club off the ground.
Bob was always such an easy guy to like and a gentleman personified. He made a very positive impact on my life and Lorraine, while you have lost a beloved husband I have lost a good old friend who will be missed. Betty and I send our sincere condolences and ask that God bless Bob and you Lorraine and your entire family.
