Marion Voss

(nee Philip), age 89, of River Grove, IL, passed peacefully on September 4, 2016. Precious wife of 59 years to Kenneth Voss, loving mother of Bill (Dara) Voss and Cheryl (fiancé Jeff Kytta) Voss Steele, adoring grandmother of Dan (Aimee) Voss, Kelly (Rick) Huls, Becky Voss, and Hannah Steele, proud step grandmother of Benjamin Schuffert and Kara (David) Brotherton, joyous great grandmother of Jacob, Lana, Reagan, Madison, and Zara, special "Auntie M" to many nieces and nephews, fun-loving cousin, and loyal friend to many and to her community. Preceded in death by her parents, William Philip and Gladys Philip Ooley, stepfather Clyde Ooley, and brothers Richard and Robert Philip. Visitation Friday, September 9, 2016, from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave, Franklin Park. A Celebration of Life for Marion will begin at 7:00 PM that evening at the funeral home. A private family internment will be held at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, IL.
