Dr. Leo age 90 passed away Saturday July 15 , 2017, beloved husband of 66 years to Betty Shapiro Wayne; devoted father of Debora Wayne of Solano Beach, CA, Dr. Alan and Helen Wayne of Los Angeles CA, and Synthia Wayne and Dr. Saul Weingart of Newton Highlands, MA; devoted grandfather of Stephanie and Madison Wayne and Benjamin and Jonah Weingart. Also survived by many greatly loved nieces, nephews and cousins. Services Monday July 17 3PM at Weil Funeral Home, 8350 Cornell Rd. Cinti. Oh 45249 with visitation at 2:15. Shiva will be observed at Cedar Village, please check www.weilfuneralhome.com for times. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Adath Israel Synagogue or Cedar Village.

Dearest Wayne Family,
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Leo was such a well respected, brilliant man and physician. Dad cherished their time co-teaching and mentoring the Sophomore Medical Students at UC. Leo was always a quick witted lunch companion for dad. From Walnut Hills High School to UC Medical School, dad will miss his buddy.

Dr. Wayne was my preceptor during my internship at the old General Hospital back in the early 1960s. He subsequently cared for my parents in their later years. Sincere condolences to the Wayne family.
