Carolyn, nee Oppenheimer, age 88, passed away peacefully at her residence July 30, 2015. Carolyn was born in Cinti, OH Oct. 22, 1926. Beloved daughter of the late Jesse & Beatrice Oppenheimer, devoted mother of Lynda Block, Robert (Justina) Block, Susan Goldman (Jeffery Owens), Emily Goldman, Judy (Robert) Butwinick & the late Dina Block, loving grandmother of Jory & Jessica Block, Beatrice & Isabel Owens, Alexander & Catherine Forrest, Charles & Kathryn Butwinick & Victor, Karina & Jaden Block. She is also survived by Susan, Emily & Judy's father, Elmer M. Goldman. Carolyn lived a full, long and healthy life. She was a strong and independent woman, raising five accomplished children and was a passionate and lifelong patron of the arts. She lived and died with extraordinary class, elegance, generosity and beauty. The family would like to acknowledge all the caregivers who helped Carolyn maintain her quality of life. Services Weil Funeral Home, 8350 Cornell Rd., Sunday, Aug. 2, 12:00 Noon. Friends may call on the family following the interment at Carolyn's house 2:30-5:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cincinnati Art Museum or Walnut Hills High School. Weilfuneralhome.com

Rob & girls my heart is sadden with the loss of ur mom she loved u guys with all her heart!!!
She will b missed by many I am thankful for the memories I had with her. I loved her very much!
