Cincinnati - Ruth, Josephine (nee Tierney). Wife of the late Jack Ruth. Loving mother of John (Shonie), Jim (Bev), Julie Ruth, Janice (Doug) Rex, Jeanie Toney, and Jackie (Tom) Tegenkamp. Cherished grandma of 12 and great grandma of 14. Survived by brother, Thomas Tierney. Sister-in-law of Carolyn Tierney, Shirley Tierney, James (Debbie) Ruth and Dorothy Finley. Beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Longtime employee of Squeri Foods. A woman of devout faith. Josephine was a patriot who loved her country but never forgot her Irish roots. She was also a raving fan of FOX News. She was the original wedding singer at Holy Cross Immaculata. Josephine never met a stranger. She was an avid reader and passed that passion on to her children and grandchildren. Passed away on May 10th at the age of 86. Funeral Mass Monday, May 17th at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, North Bend, OH. Burial to follow at the St. Joe's New Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital or Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
