Susan Carr Obituary
She was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 18, 1955, a daughter of the late Peter G. and Dorothy Dougherty Carr.
Susan was a resident of White Haven Center for the past 44 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Dorothy Carr.
Surviving are sisters, Marianne Powers and her husband, Michael, Oceanport, N.J.; and Patricia Godfrey, Indian Lake; brothers, Peter Carr, Kingston; Joseph Carr, Wilkes-Barre; and Edward Carr and his wife, Kira, West Friendship, Md.; nieces and nephews.
Susan's family is deeply grateful for the loving care provided by the staff, especially the aides, at the White Haven Center for these many years. They were truly her family.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Dec. 1 in the Chapel of Haven Hall at White Haven Center, 827 Oley Valley Road, White Haven. The Rev. Michael Kloton will officiate.
Private interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the WHC-Client Activities Fund, c/o White Haven Center, 827 Oley Valley Road, White Haven, PA 18661.
