Brian Ring Obituary
Born in Wilkes-Barre on Jan. 10, 1978, he was the son of Cindy J. Heller, Dorrance Township and L. Wayne Ring, Nanticoke. He graduated with honors from Crestwood High School in 1996.
After graduation, he began working in restaurants and was employed at Ruth's Chris Steak House and Lavinia's, in the Philadelphia Area, then at Top of the 80s, Hazleton. Most recently he worked at King's Restaurant, Berwick.
Brian was a talented musician. He could sing and was able to play several instruments such as the guitar, bass, and drums. He was a member of several local bands, most notably Necromantik Sunshine, who released a CD, and some of those songs were played on local radio stations. He was singed with a music label overseas. He used his talent and good heart to hold benefit fund raisers for others in need. He was also an animal lover, and a "Star Wars" fanatic.
In addition to his parents, he will be greatly missed by the "Sunshine of his Life," his son, Julian, Bloomsburg; brother, Brandon, Glen Lyon; niece, Cadence; grandfather, Luis Ring, Vacaville, Calif.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne C. Ring; and grandparents, Joyce Moyer, Barbara Ring; and Frank and Agnes (Metzger) Keithline.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E. Third St., Nescopeck, with the Rev. Neil Partington, pastor, officiating. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heller Funeral Home to help defray his final expenses.

Its is truly a tragic loss for the alternative community. I had known brian since the bands first debut back in the hey day of the original mp3.com. I played the bands music and talked to members during this time and gained a fond respect for Brian as well as the other members. You have my heartfelt condolences and in time the pain will subside. Brian was my best friend as a child and I will always cherish that. He was always kind at heart and loyal as can be. His word meant something solid. As an adult, although we lost touch, from what I know of him his defining character and attributes made him one of the most outstanding people that others could had the fortune to know.
