Michael Rokitko Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation on Feb. 2, 2026.
Michael A. Rokitko, 71, passed away on February 1, 2026. He was born on November 8, 1954, to the late John and Rita (Belanchik) Rokitko.

Michael was a graduate of Crestwood High School, Class of 1972, and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Penn State University, Class of 1976. He dedicated his professional life to hard work and leadership, first with Pennsylvania Gas & Water and later with UGI, where he worked for 30 years and retired as a respected crew leader.

A humble, loving, and caring man, Michael was a wonderful husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather. He was known for his strong work ethic and lifelong interest in farming and gardening, taking pride in working the land and sharing the results of his efforts.

Michael was an active and dedicated member of the former St. Boniface Church, where he faithfully used his vacation time to volunteer at the church bazaar. Following the closing and merger of St. Boniface, he became a member of St. Andrew's Parish. He also served as President of Camp St. George in Mountain Top, where he generously volunteered his time maintaining the grounds and caring for the property.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Judy (Gramazio) Rokitko; his daughter, Gina Mikita, and her husband, Michael; his son, Michael A. Rokitko Jr.; his best buddy and faithful fur baby Noah; and his cherished granddaughters, Montana and Charlotte Mikita, who were truly the apples of his eye.

In addition, he is also survived by brothers John and Adam Rokitko, sisters Rita Kania, Mary (Phil) Young, and Ann and Christine Rokitko, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his siblings, Edward, Joseph, and Reginia Rokitko.

A Celebration of Michael's Life will be held at a day and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of Desiderio-Lehman Funeral & Cremation.
