Jane, I've been having so many dreams about you lately. In one, someone is admiring the earring I'm wearing, one of yours that I wear every day. They touch it and when I tell them my friend made it, they say that it is more valuable than any of the others they've seen, the expensive, glittery ones from Tiffany. I say, "I know," and waken to your precious memory. I miss you so much, Jane!
Love,
Hester

Jane was my best friend in grade school. Most all of my good memories of those years involved Jane. Though I was Catholic and she was Jewish, we shared our lives and families all the time. So many memories. From singing all the Carole King Tapestry songs in a silly way on a recorder( which I still have), shopping Downtown W-B, Sleepovers, and so much more. I can still sing a song she made up about Prunes (she didn't like them). I always thought I would see Jane again. Not thought, vowed. Unfortunately that will not be until the next life. But she will ALWAYS be a part of who I am and I am eternally grateful for that. Much love to Jane's family. Thank You for sharing her.

Jane, you were adorable, gifted, and wicked funny. I miss our breakfasts at midtown's Flame Diner, where you squeezed in a precious hour before your job and we flamed with giggles and silliness and wild conversations about art and life. There was no one like you, my wonderful friend, and I miss you so much and love you forever.

You and RIck were there for me at the lowest point of my life. You made it possible for me to spend more time with my precious son. Your sense of humor and gentle spirit will be missed. You fought the fight valiantly and now may you rest in gentle peace. Love, Dot

I was so sorry to hear of Jane's passing. She was the best in so many ways with a smile that would light up a room, and a heart with a place for everyone. Love to Rick, Julian, and her family.

I worked with Jane at Dreyfus. We shared many laughs, fun times and train rides to and from the Tarrytown train station.
She had a great sense of humor and was so creative and knowledgeable about designing effective marketing tools.
She loved her family and was such a proud mom, sharing all of Julian's accomplishments.
I will always remember the fun times that we shared together and will miss her. Rest In Peace Jane.

My deepest sympathies to the Brooks and Schiowitz families. Jane and I worked together at Dreyfus in NYC for 5 years. She was an amazing woman, wonderful friend, a talented artist and a devoted wife and mother. Jane was a great listener and always there to offer her advice whenever I needed it no matter what it was. I miss our morning talks about anything and everything. I'll miss her wit, her sense of humor, her laugh and that infectious smile. May she rest in peace and watch over her family and all of us always. I'll see you on the other side my old friend.

I cherish so many woderful memories of the years and times spent with my dear friend, Jane. We were the best of friends through school, sharing so many experiences and great times together and with our other pals Lisa, Jean and Joan. We all also shared the love of art and began our life ventures in pursuit of an artistic career, with Jane certainly excelling in her craft. I have so many memories that I hold dear with one of the strongest being the times spent at the Schiowitz home and the witnessing of a family bond that was extraordinary. Jane's bond with her parents and with Mark, Bert and Nan and the love they had for each other was a privilege to be a part of in times spent with them all. I always felt so welcomed. We shared terrific meals...laughing...swimming...story telling...just hanging out together...and the best chocolate chip cake recipe that I still make to this day! My friendship and times with Jane and with her family had a profound, positive impact on my life, for which I will forever be thankful. Jane has always held a special place in my heart...a place that will always remain. Rest now my dear friend...
Love to you all....
Amy
