Randy Cowell Obituary
Memphis, TN
Randy Cowell, 60, a longtime resident of Jackson, MS, died December 5, 2012 in Memphis TN. Randy graduated from the University of Mississippi and was employed by Lion Oil in 1987 as Sales Representative in Memphis TN. In 1995 he relocated to Jackson MS as Lion's Manager of Wholesales Sales. In 2011, Randy relocated back to Memphis as an employee of Lion/Delek.
Randy is preceded in death by his father, Darrell Cowell, and his brother D. W. Cowell. He is survived by his mother, Esther Cowell of Brandon MS, cousins Bobby Hathaway of Memphis TN, Richard Goble of Mission Viejo, CA, Jim Higby of Arvada, CO, and Terry Just of Englewood CO.
Mrs. Cowell is requesting a private memorial service with family in attendance. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. James Episcopal Church, 3921 Oakridge Drive, Jackson MS.

I was so sad to learn of Randy's passing. He was such a sweet man who always had a twinkle in his eye and a laugh to share. He truly brightened up the room when he entered it. My sympathies go to his family. Randy will truly be missed.

Randy was one of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure of knowing for the past 45 years. His beautiful smile, the twinkle in his eye and his gentle soul are what I will remember. My thoughts and prayers are with his Mother and family.
