My Dearest Stein Family:
We miss Olivia so very much every day of every year. She will forever be an inspiration to all lucky enough to have known her. She could never do enough when it came to enriching another life. She continually put her own needs aside and gave that fortunate person her undivided attention.
That is a Stein trait.
We will love and cherish her more every day and every year.
Michelle, Harvey, Alex and Family: you have been more than brave. You honor her and bring her great pride. You live your lives with the values she learned and demonstrated over and over again.
We love you with all our hearts.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I will never forget Olivia; she will always be in my heart. I worked with her in Barnes & Noble, and out of the dozens (hundreds, more likely) of young people who worked there in my years there, she was the sweetest, most good hearted person. Plus she had such a good sense of humor.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Olivia's passing. Olivia had an otherworldliness to her soul, she will make a perfect angel. Olivia was warm, loving, and brave. She would go out of her way to make others comfortable. I wish you God’s peace. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew Olivia from Del Rey to Miramonte, graduating with her as we were close in name. I will always remember cracking jokes with her as we waited for our names to be called on that final afternoon.

We knew each other only a short time, but I will miss you with all my heart. Scott and I, and of course your favorite neighborhood bulldogs Bailey and Daisy will love you always. Olivia was an absolute amazing, smart,and sincere young woman. I had the pleasure of knowing her while at Barnard and I can say that every time I saw her she was warm and invited conversation. She had so much love to share. I offer my sincere sympathy to you during this difficult time. I will always remember her fondly.

I had the pleasure of knowing Olivia while at Barnard. She was an incredibly intelligent and talented woman with a goofy sense of humor, quick wit, style and class. She was a beautiful person in every sense of the word and I will never forget her kindness, warmth and effortless charm. Olivia was a playful, energetic child that grew into a kind, beautiful, smart young woman. I know first hand that she was the product of a warm and loving family and that you were wonderful parents to her. It seems like only yesterday that us moms were gathered in your kitchen, sipping coffee and chatting, while our kids were running around your house, having fun and creating mayhem. This is such a tragedy and I am so sorry for your loss.

I cannot express the sadness and the shock I feel from hearing this. I had the pleasure of having Olivia as my roommate while she lived in NY...we had great times together...talking about life. She had a beautiful heart. She will always be missed and remembered.

Olivia was a friend of mine. I met her a year ago in Marin. I was immediately struck by her beauty, inside and out. She was not only very smart, but also had a cunning wit. She and I shared similar interestes, along with recovery we both loved art and contemporary culture. She was easy to talk to and had a unique kindness.I am devastated at the news of her passing, but I consider myself lucky to have known her for the short amount of time that I did.

Dear Stein Family, I did not know Olivia well, but many times she accompanied Alex when he came to make music with Brian in our home during their high school years. She was always very full of energy and had a ready, beautiful smile. She was a dear friend to Brian as well. I cannot imagine your deep loss. My heart goes out to your entire family. I bumped into Olivia last year after not seeing her since high school. She had been through so much but was full of smiles and laughter, as genuine and forthcoming as I remembered. This is horribly sad. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

Michelle, Harvey, and Alex. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Olivia was one of my oldest and greatest friends. During the summmer of 2001 we spent so much time together.
