Jeffrey "Conrad" Nicklus, 25, was born Easter Sunday, April 19, 1987 to Cindy and Jeff Nicklus and brother to older sister, Nikki Nicklus. He passed away suddenly July 15, 2012.
Conrad grew up in The Woodlands, Texas, graduating in 2006 from The Woodlands High School. He was to graduate from the School of Business at Sam Houston State University in December. Conrad worked with his father and as such became known as "Little Desman" as they created and grew their custom motorcycles companies. Conrad's life touched so many people and his love for life and engaging smile will be missed beyond measure.
A celebration of Conrad's life will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 22, 2013 in the Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
Conrad's favorite color was red and the family encourages those attending to wear something red.

The years that have passed have done so without your funny face. You are remembered, loved and missed each and everyday. While we have learned to take a step forward without you, those steps are sometimes very heavy. Just letting you know you are remembered.

There are few words to express the emptiness and loss we still feel. On your birthday, we stop an extra minute longer than we normally do each day, to think of you, remember your life and to honor you. Never forgotten, never. You are loved still.

So, as March starts, April approaches. You will be 25 forever. Not a day goes by that you are not thought of and remembered and perhaps our tears are less frequent and our hearts less heavy, but the absence of you is ever felt and the loss is just as strong. We speak your name often, remember you kindly and with laughter as we cover the emptiness that our lives are without you. GOD WE MISS YOU CONRAD. ALL OF US.

Devastating death... so very soul sobering. Devastating, because of the parents left behind, who shouldn't have to out live thier baby boy. All our hearts, and prayers go out to his family this morning of mourning.
Conrad Nicklus died only to live forever with our heavenly Father.
He was at the least a friendly and familiar face in the hall way to everyone our age, but he was a gentle and genuine soul.
"Only the good die young"
That song doesn't even begin to ease a parents pain, but God the Father is with us all.
I recommend the story of Job in the Bible for a parent going through something I can not fathom, none the less I will keep you in my prayers always.
If I may assist with anything at all, although ceremonies are over, please contact me at anytime. Even just to hear a memory to force a smile.

Conrad,
Your family loved you. More than words can express. Your friends loved you, more than most friends will every see in their lives. Everything changed in one singular moment and as the shattered peices of what is left behind are carefully put back together, while they will never fit quite the same, it is your love that will be the glue to hold them tight. We keep your mom, dad and sister in our prayers while you allow the rains to heal their hearts.

Conrad,
I can't believe you are gone. With you you buried so much of my happiness. I promise I will make you proud, as I'm sure you were when I cried like a baby speaking at your funeral. I love you, and I promise to take the time to see your family as much as possible. You live in me now, and I love you so.

My memories of Conrad go back to David Elementary and 3rd grade when I was new to The Woodlands. He was one of the first kids in the class to befriend me and his kindness was persistent as we went through school together. Prayers and best wishes to his family and close friends.

This has been an extremely tough week for me. I wish I could just call you & hug you & tell you how much you mean to me. I know that that is selfish of me because you are in a better place now but it still breaks my heart. I am so thankful that I got to be apart of your life & even more thankful that you were apart of mine. Although my eyes haven't been dry much this week, I can't help but smile when I think of all the amazing memories we have shared. The last time we saw each other you gave me a huge bear hug & said "I'll see you later sis, love ya!" with that huge smile on your face. I'll cherish that moment forever! You made such an impact on my life. Although I wish I had more time with you here on earth, I know that I will "see you later" as you promised & I now have the most amazing guardian angel! Forever in my heart & until we meet again, I love you brother.
