Marcy Mayberry Obituary

Marcy Mayberry, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at her residence.
Marcy was born on March 6, 1973, in Hereford, Texas. She graduated from Levelland High School in 1991, and received her bachelor's degree from Angelo State University. She continued graduate work at Texas Tech University.
Marcy worked in a variety of social service positions. She especially enjoyed her work with youth. Her love of athletics led her to become an avid Texas Tech and Dallas Cowboys fan.
She is survived by her father and mother, Ron and Jeany Mayberry, of Carlsbad, N.M.; her two sisters and brothers-in-law: Kim and Ron Arrington of Carlsbad, N.M., and Mendi and Lance Melton of Midlothian, Texas; her uncle and aunt, Mike and Bitsy Mayberry of New Braunfels, Texas; and her cousins: Matt, Jessica and Bear Mayberry of San Antonio, Texas, and Morgan Mayberry of New Braunfels, Texas. The loves of her life were her four nephews and two nieces: Robbey Arrington, Marcus Arrington and Nate Arrington, all of Carlsbad, N.M., and Austin Rigsby, Mikah Melton and Abbi Grace Melton of Midlothian, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel, 5704 W. 19th St., Lubbock, Texas. Visitation was Tuesday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. The family request in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Marcy's memory to Family Coaching.
