Victor Gaz Obituary

Victor Fred Gaz passed away peacefully in the presence of his family in Florida on February 23, 2017. He was born on January 24,1939 to Louis & Francis (Cameli) Gaz in Chicago Heights, IL. Victor is survived by his wife of 45 years Ina Jane (Foster) Gaz, son John (Conda), daughter Irene, grandchildren Hannah & Jeremy (John), sister Lila James, & many nieces & nephews. Preceding in death are siblings Primo, Ledio, Eleanor, Alba, John, Marian, Joe, & Fred. After retiring from Alco Spring & McAllister Equipment, Vic & Jane moved to Florida. His family remembers him as a generous, loving, proud husband & father who enjoyed spending time with his family, watching harness horse racing, admiring Chevy Camaros, doing yard work in the Florida sunshine, & feeding Irene's pets he called his grand-tortoises. His family appreciates the loving support received from family & friends during his illness & with his passing. Memorial donations may be made to his family or a charity, condolences at Legacy.com.
