Veronica C. Timmons SAUGERTIES- Veronica C. Timmons, 71, of Saugerties, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at her home. Born in Yonkers, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Martine Mott. Veronica graduated from Yonkers High School and went on to be a Licensed Practical Nurse. She moved to Red Hook in 1981 and worked at Ferncliff Nursing Home until her retirement in 2002. She was an avid Yankee fan, a voracious reader, enjoyed travelling and computer games. Veronica is survived by her partner of 28 years, Barbara C. Nickerson; two daughters, Catherine Timmons of Saugerties and Maureen Winberg and her husband Jym of Martinsburg, W. Va.. She was also survived by her beloved Bichon Frise, Gaby, the love of her life. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to any food pantry or favorite charity of one's choice. Barbara,
I am so very sorry to hear of Veronica's passing. She was such a caring person and a great nurse. I truly enjoyed the time I worked with both of you, your personalities complimented each other.

My loss is profound,the pain is straight to my heart,and I will never be able to look at life the same again without you.
I was truly blessed when God placed us together,you kept me grounded,I was the best because of you.We shared a full life of laughter, and love.Our families and friends loved us and supported us.
I will honor the life we shared until the day I die,I will take care of Gaby and love her as you did.And I will love your daughters and son in law as I have always loved them.
I am humbled to have had you in my life,I am honored to have your love,and I will thank God upon every rememberance of you.
I cannot imagine my life without you,but I know you are finally at peace and free of suffering.I know that my grieving process has only just begun,but our family and our friends have surrounded me,despite everything being so fresh and fragile in my heart,it will take time.
