Edward Crandall

Edward Crandall, 88, passed away, Wednesday November 18, 2015 at home with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Frederick and Catherine Crandall. Edward worked for several years for Dagostino Building Block as well as Towne Bowling Academy and Center Stage Deli. He enjoyed bowling and hunting as well as spending time with his family. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Elaine Crandall. He is also survived by his children, Sandra, Kevin (Michelle) and Carol; his grandchildren, Tina (Joe), Karrie (Jason), Kevin (Amanda), Brian (Tammy), Fred Jr. (Brittany), Melissa (Paul), and step grandson, Joshua; his great-grandchildren, Destiny, Makayla, Britany, Katlyn, Dylan and Braydon; and a great-great-grandson to be Logan Blake. Edward is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as his sister-in-law, Edith Crandall; brother- in-law, Ron Capullo (Theresa). Armand Capullo, Martin (Carol) Capullo and Louise (Nick) Mone. Edward was predeceased by his siblings, Bert, Pete, Frederick, Herbert; twin brother, Everett, and Erman, Dorothy and Verona. He was also predeceased by his son-in-law, Frederick Blake and also his brother-in-law, Charles Capullo. The family would like to give a special thanks to Amanda Crandall for giving special care to "Pop" during a difficult time. They would also like to thank the Dr. Craig Peterson and Dr. Gupta for everything as well Community Hospice of Schenectady. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home.
