Eileen Ann Obituary

Ann Eileen Kramer Glenville - A. Eileen Kramer 77, peacefully passed away on Friday, July, 26th 2024 following a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. Eileen was born on January, 10th 1947 before her twin sister to the late John F. DeGraff and Madeline Buboltz DeGraff. Eileen is also predeceased in death by her twin sister M. Elaine Fazio (Ralph). Eileen is survived by her husband Wayne R Kramer, sons Scott B. Kramer (Shari), Kevin M Kramer (Carly), her brother John DeGraff (Irene), grandchildren Autumn Kramer, Brayden Kramer and her step grandchildren, Devin, Diana, Phillip and Jack. Her brother in-law Lance Jackson and the late Roberta Jackson along with several nieces, nephews and her life-long friend Yvonne.
A life long resident of Glenville New York, Eileen graduated in 1965 from the Scotia-Glenville High School. She was a communicant of the church of the Immaculate Conception of Glenville. Eileen worked at MVP Heath Care in Schenectady for many years until her retirement. Eileen met her husband, Wayne at a ski resort in Massachusetts and was married for 56 GREAT years!! As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Eileen was a den mother, taught religious education, involved with the Scotia-Glenville PTA and a past President and lifetime member of the Thomas Corners Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Eileen was someone who was kind, generous and who always thought more about others than of herself. She would light up the room when she entered with her infectious smile. Eileen enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones. She loved to go camping with her husband in their RV motorhome. She also loved to take trips on their motorcycle with Wayne, traveling wherever the road led them. Eileen was especially fond of attending her grandchildren's sporting events. You would always find her in the stands or sidelines at field hockey and baseball games to cheer as she was their biggest fan. Eileen had a special bond with her dogs. She continued this bond with all her four-legged granddogs, always there to care and love them. Eileen loved to hold family gatherings and always made sure everyone was fed with her famous german potato salad that has not been replicated.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 1st at the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home 1 Mohawk Ave Scotia. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 2nd at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate conception 400 Saratoga Rd Glenville. Burial will follow mass at Park Cemetary in Scotia.

Saddened to learn of Eileen's passing. She was my very first "serious" girl friend back in Scotia- Glenville High School. Me a senior her a junior what a thing it was in those days. Spent many days at her home in Scotia with her and family from 1964 till 1966.
In time we each went different ways but ended up living a few blocks from each other Glenville years later.

Eileen will be missed. I worked with her at MVP Health Care for many years. She was always so kind and loving. She had the biggest heart and on food days her German potato salad was amazing! I would see her time to time at Market 32 in Glenville and we would catch up on family. Eileen will be missed. Prayers for your family and friends.

To the Kramer family, I was so sorry to hear that Eileen passed away. We shared many great memories in the TCFD as I remember her great smile and infectious personality. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
