I remember Judge Woodward as such a kind and wonderful man. My parents, the late Dr. Ronald & the late Joan Pokornowski, were great friends and spoke highly of Al. His friendship will be greatly missed!

I dream for a day we can meet face to face
You are a man of integrity and a man of grace
A great loss for me
And this great community
I still hold you forever close to my heart
God wanted you and it was time for you to depart
I will see you in awhile beloved grandfather of mine
But I know deep in my heart you are doing just fine
Everyone here loves you though you’re not physically here
You are spiritually in all of our minds
So mourn him not with apparel of black,
But dress in color and rejoice with me
Talk not of his departure with sighs in your hearts
Close your eyes and you will see him with you forevermore
it’s a Transition to something new;
Grandpa your transition is one of a pure spirit and soul
And god came to bring you to a better peace, a sense of serenity
God greets you at the door and says my friend
those stairs they only go up
and arms will be waiting to greet you
and this is your new fate
Today is the day all the pain goes away
Feel the warmth of good thing’s
wave good bye
with a tear in eye
to love, light, and laughter.
Smile full of hope
and eyes only seeing gray
this incredible man was set free on this fine winter day
