On behalf of Hattie Mae Patterson's (Madea) family, I thank each of you for your prayers, condolensences, calls, visits, food, flowers and gifts of love.
God greatly blessed our mother, as well as, her family from the oldest to the youngest (myself) and all in between! I will forever be greatful for my Mother; for everything she was and is to me and my children. For teaching and showing us the unbounding faith in our Heavenly Father who strengthened her and blessed her with courage through
good times, bad times and trying times.
I can truly say that God is merciful and through His promises and strength, we know that "All Is Well". To God we give the glory for our magnificent Mother! Only He could make such a wonderful angel. My heart bursts with pride every time I imagine the heavenly reception she received! I just pray that we'll all be ready when it's our turn! May He bless you all.

We love you Madear. Rest in the peace and the glory of God.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. John 14:1-4

Crossing the Bar
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
