Michael Andrew Sloan

Michael Andrew Sloan of West Chester Michael Andrew Sloan, 64 of West Chester, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014. Michael was a man of many talents. He was a great athlete, competed in Iron Man competitions, and rode his bicycle into work every day at the Acme in West Goshen. He also had a great love for motorbikes and cars, books, music, movies and good TV dramas. He had worked in Information Technology for most of his career. He was the former husband of Kathy Wendt Sloan-Hall and Cheryl Bain, and is also survived by his children, Michael E. Sloan, Janean M. Sloan-Earley and Alegria V. Angeles; grandchildren, Chase, Nickolaus and Kiera; and sisters, Josie and Kimberly. Michael was Native American, and his primary spiritual influence was his Abuela, who was both a devout Catholic and a very well-respected spiritual healer. He remembered her fondly, and talked about her throughout his life. Relatives and Friends are invited to his funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; where visitation will begin at 9 a.m. A reception will follow and be announced after the Mass. Interment will be private.
