I was so shocked & saddened to hear about the death of Maria. I still remember the day we met back in Junior High School. She was always one of the most pleasant, easy-going, kind friends that I had. I remember one occasion when I was teasing her about the fact she was always the best dressed girl in school. She really did have a way to put you at easy and was always available to listen if you had a problem.
I feel bad now that we didn't continue our friendship after graduation.
I still remember your birthday Maria- February 2.

We are so very saddened to hear of Maria's
passing. She was such a sweet person who I went to junior high school with on up through high school. I have such good memories of our high school days together!

So shocked and saddened to hear of Maria's passing. We worked together in the maintenance Department in Embreeville Center. It's ironic that she has been on my mind lately. Really wanted to catch up with her. We would have had a good time reminiscing about our time at Embreeville.

She was my best office teacher I loved her at friendship elementary she was the best but she had really bad cancer and really sick we all miss her every body was crying like I am now but she is in a safe place up in heaven like my uncle Gary he used to take me fishing all the time but there up there with God keeping them safe and sound rest and peace miss.toth I will always keep you in my heart this writing is by Alexis D'Ginto

This is simply the truth...Maria was Friendship School. She touched so many children's lives during her 20 years. She was truly the best representation of the CASD staff. I was so very sorry to hear about Maria. She lived just up the road from my grandparents while growing up, and went to school with my brother. On the few occasions I was in her company, she was always very kind and sweet. I know she will be remembered fondly, and dearly missed by all who knew her. Rarely do you meet a person with whom you instantly connect but Maria was an exception. Our beloved Mrs.Toth was one of those genuinely kind and caring people who made you feel welcome and valued as soon as she greeted you. The Friendship Family has lost a truly good soul. We were so heartbroken to hear about Maria this week... Words cannot even express how sorry we are for your loss.... I just hope hearing how much she touched so many lives can bring you some comfort in knowing how much she was loved by her Friendship family! She literally was the most caring, sweetest and selfless women I knew and was always willing to do anything to help anyone! She always welcomed me with a smile on her face and always asked how my older kids were doing that had moved on to the middle school and HS and I knew she looked after my little guy there now. I always enjoyed talking to her and even knowing she had been going through so much the last couple of years battling cancer she never complained and still always shined with her beautiful smile! That is how I will always remember her..... ❤ She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her! I hope she realized how many lives she touched on such a positive way..She truly was a beautiful person. God Bless you and your family at this difficult time! We will miss you Maria!!

Still in shock over the news of my dear friend. Maria and u were friends for five years. She trained me when I came to Reeveville and was always there when help was needed. We spent many lunches at Morton's pizza laughing and having a good time. I'm going to hold in my heart the last time I sat and spoke with Maria snd that was in the bench outside Friendship. Maria, u will always hold a special place in my heart for you and will never forget your kind hearted smile. May god protect you and keep you at peace. Mike, the boys, the grandkids may you find peace and guidance during this difficult. Know that Maria loved you all, she always spoke lovingly about her family.

Maria's loving nature and the ability to find the good in others truly represented the name of our school: Friendship. All of us were blessed to have Maria in our life. God released a dear, beautiful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend from the cancer that she so bravely fought.
