Anthony Biggers Obituary

Anthony Eugene Biggers, 57, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at his home in Olive Branch, MS. He was born on February 2, 1963 to the late Lawrence and Vivian Biggers in Greenville, South Carolina.

Anthony graduated from University of Memphis with a Master's Degree. He was a graphic arts professor for Southwest Tennessee Community College from 2009 to present. Anthony was an avid bicyclist, loved to play guitars, worked at WEVL radio station, and was a fan of the Chicago Cubs. He was a devote Catholic and attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Memphis, TN.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Vivian Biggers. He is survived by his brother, Steve Biggers (Melissa); nieces, Cristina Abby, Sharon Banos (Christian); cousins, Janet Biggers, Paulette Childers; his uncle, Larry Crisco; his aunt, Barbara Helms, and his friends, Hal Mabrey and Gary GoLightley. Anthony also leaves behind a host of great nieces, nephew, and friends in midtown. He will be missed dearly.

A memorial service will be held at later date.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to WEVL FM 89.9, P.O. Box 40952 Memphis, TN 38174.
