We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to you all at this time ... the times I spent with Aunt Daneen and Uncle Paul impacted my life as I saw the love they had for each other and family. The singing and the acceptance when I met them is unforgettable. There are two great memories of Aunt Daneen - she had Such sweetness coupled with a sense of adventure. Grandpa DArcy was 66 when Daneen was born - can you imagine the faith in the family facing lifes circumstances as they did- the year after Grandpas passing in 1958; Daneen gave me the best Christmas I ever had; she was 15 -she had all the pressures and intrigue of all young teenagers; with a single parent household - yet she spent a full day shopping with a 7 year old who had $7:; it remains in my memory the most joyous Christmas ever -
And the Secomd - Daneen went to NY city; big adventure trip - and she met Paul; the times were jubilantly celebrating what was known as Hootenannies and Paul and Daneen came back to Buffalo with their singing friends for the wedding - Hootennaning our family into joyous good times - Life is so unpredictable and at times unfair- but we all should celebrate a wonderful life well lived
