Served with Mike during Desert Shield/Desert storm. I was a Staff Sergeant and he a corporal back then. I've searched for him for years and it deeply saddens me to find he has passed. He was an awesome soldier and devoted father. I recall his child being born while he was in the Gulf War, and how badly we all wanted him to go home. I will remember Mike as a good friend but I loved him like a brother. My deepest sympathies to his wife and family. SSG Thomas N. Thomas

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. May loving memories ease your loss and bring you comfort. I hope that the promise in John 6:40 can also bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for the ones we lost in death can be reassuring.

I am so very sorry to hear about your husband. Losing someone is never easy and I am praying that God will be with you during this difficult time. You and your family have always been part of our "military family".
